The band's web site has placed a permanent link to a streaming audio version of the song. If you remember the original Radio Caroline from the 1960s, this song will get your heart pumped up. If you never heard of Radio Caroline, the band has laid out a little history of this legendary offshore British pirate radio station plus their feelings about it.

Link To The Story

Corey Deitz
Radio.About.Com
U.S.A.

UCA Radio Review

Gun Street Radio - Pirate Radio EP

In delicate shades of 60s-inspired melodies, and the gloriously
distinctive tones of the arrangements of those far off idyllic days,
Gun Street Radio's latest EP is a delightful evocation of a long past, but dearly loved era.

Drawing its inspiration from the heady days of radio Caroline and the
pirates, these are well crafted tracks. With "Radio Caroline" probably
the strongest of the tracks, one can almost hear the jingles and the
voices, as the music gently bobs up and down, and the ebb and flow of the lyrics remind us of the innocent yet in-your-face attitude of the times of which they sing.

A very welcome reminder of a fondly remembered era, and a tribute to the time when radio and music coalesced, turning spotty youth into rebels and reactionaries.

Gun Street Radio are to be commended for reminding us of the power of revolting youth.

Marcus Bowman
UCA Radio
87.7FM and DAB
Scotland
